[evTiger.com] (“We”) provide charger products to users and customers. This warranty represents our limited warranty of our products and applies to the products we sold to you.
GENERAL
ALTHOUGH THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, THIS WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAWS THAT APPLY TO YOU AND THE PRODUCTS. PLEASE REVIEW THE TERMS TO UNDERSTAND YOUR RIGHTS FULLY.
WHO IS COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY
This warranty covers users of the Charger Products to the extent that the individuals who purchased the Products from us.
If your charger is proven to be defective because of material defect we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the charger free of charge. In all circumstances, you will be responsible for covering the costs associated with sending out an engineer to remove the existing charger and replace it with either a new one or the repaired one.
We may provide list of electricians for customers to help install the EV charger upon request. If the charger is damaged due to the fault of those electricians, we will replace the charger free of charge for you. However, for the avoidance of doubt, if you seek technical support from your own technicians, we shall not be responsible for any such damage to the charger caused by third parties.
LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE
There are two types of warranty offered by us in respect of the charger only:-
Basic Warranty
It covers 1-year warranty (warranty of the charger, EXCLUDING site visit fee, installation fee, labour fee involving removal of a broken and replacement of a new charger).
Premium Warranty
It covers 3-year warranty (warranty of the charger AND arrangement of engineer for site visit within the warranty period).
CONDITIONS FOR WARRANTY COVERAGE
This warranty is subject to the following conditions:-
The charger has been installed by an approved installer and operated correctly;
The charger is used only on the electricity supply printed on the rating plate;
The charger has been used only to charge an electric vehicle;
The charger has not been altered, serviced, maintained, dismantled or otherwise interfered with by any person not authorised by us or our appointed agent. For the avoidance of doubt any attempt to open the unit by anyone other than ourselves or our appointed agent will invalidate the guarantee;
Any repair work must be undertaken by us or our appointed agent; and
Any parts removed during repair work or any charger that is replaced become our property.
PROVIDED you meet the requirements above, you must notify us within ten (10) days of the date on which the defect first occurred.
EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY COVERAGE
The guarantee does not cover:
Damage resulting from transportation, improper use, wear and tear, neglect or interference or as a result of improper installation; and
Replacement of any consumable item or accessory not supplied by us.
SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY CONSTITUTES OUR EXCLUSIVE LIABILITY, AND THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE USER, FOR ANY BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY OR OTHER NONCONFORMITY OF THE PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE, AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
EXCEPT AS WARRANTED ABOVE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE PROVIDE THE PRODUCTS “AS IS,” WE MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, AND WE HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
